EcoBoost, EcoBlue & PureTech

The belt is only part of the job.

Wet belts run in engine oil. The right replacement plan considers the exact engine, service history, lubricant specification and whether deterioration has affected the oil system.

VULCAN MOTORS / Wet-belt replacement
01

Match the procedure to the engine.

We offer Ford 1.0 EcoBoost, Ford 2.0 EcoBlue and PSA/Stellantis 1.0/1.2 PureTech wet-belt replacement. This includes applicable Transit and Ranger 2.0 EcoBlue engines. Registration and engine identification are needed before the work is specified.

  • Engine-specific parts and procedure
  • Service history and previous repairs
  • Correct lubricant requirements

02

Look beyond the visible belt.

Where appropriate, work includes the oil-pump drive and sump removal to inspect or clean the pickup following belt deterioration. Debris or low oil pressure may call for further investigation rather than a belt replacement alone.

  • Oil-pump belt/chain where fitted
  • Sump and pickup condition
  • Mechanical oil-pressure testing when indicated

03

Plan the job around the condition.

Tell us about any oil-pressure warnings, noise, consumption or previous belt concerns when booking. Do not continue driving with an oil-pressure warning; arrange advice and safe vehicle delivery.

The price is vehicle-specific. We explain the proposed scope and any further work identified during dismantling.

  • No generic all-engines price
  • Associated damage assessed separately
  • Parts and service requirements documented

04

Keep the service record working for you.

Use the correct oil and follow the applicable maintenance schedule after replacement. Bring your service book if it is not digital; digital service-history updates are available on request. Ask about the actual component warranty for the parts supplied.

  • Keep the invoice and maintenance record
  • Ask for the specified oil information
  • Raise new warnings promptly
