Brakes & braking repairs
Brakes that inspire confidence.
A noise, vibration or change in pedal feel deserves a proper explanation. We investigate the concern, explain what is worn or faulty and discuss the repair before replacing parts.

Find what you need.

Tell us what has changed.
You do not need to identify the component yourself. Tell reception when the symptom happens: first thing in the morning, during gentle braking, after a longer journey or when using the parking brake. Details such as recent work and dashboard messages help us plan the appointment.
- Noise, squealing, grinding or vibration under braking
- Pulling, uneven braking or changes in pedal feel
- Brake warnings, visible leaks or a sticking parking brake
An inspection before a parts list.
Pads and discs are only part of a braking system. We consider the affected components and the cause of uneven wear rather than assuming every noise needs the same repair. The inspection scope and charge are agreed when booking; health checks are not free.
Where electronic warnings need fault-finding, a diagnostic appointment may be the appropriate starting point. Further investigation or component removal is discussed if the initial inspection cannot establish the cause.

The exact repair depends on the vehicle, condition and findings. We explain the affected parts and any associated work before you authorise it.
- Brake pads and discs, and suitable drum/shoe applications
- Calipers, sticking mechanisms and related fittings
- Brake hoses, pipework and hydraulic concerns
- Brake-fluid work and parking-brake repairs as appropriate
Choose the right repair for the vehicle.
Your registration, vehicle specification and existing brake setup matter when selecting parts. Previous modifications and alternative wheel sizes should be mentioned at the outset.
We can discuss replacement parts and the practical differences between the available options. If you are considering a performance conversion rather than a standard repair, Torque Monsta can assess the complete package, including wheel clearance and supporting components.

We distinguish the work required now from related observations and explain any additional investigation before proceeding. At collection, ask us to talk through the invoice, the work performed and any component-specific bedding-in or follow-up guidance.
If you would like to see replaced parts, request this before authorising the work so the team can confirm arrangements. Keep the invoice with your service history.
